Methylfentanyl

Description

Methylfentanyl refers to a group of highly potent synthetic opioid analgesics that are analogs of fentanyl, including 3-methylfentanyl, \(\alpha \)-methylfentanyl, \(\beta \)-methylfentanyl, and ortho-methylfentanyl. They are primarily known for extreme potency, with 3-methylfentanyl estimated at 400 to 6000 times stronger than morphine, making them extremely dangerous with a high risk of fatal respiratory depression.
